BOE's Tucker says global cooperation needed to avoid crises

Paul Tucker, deputy governor for financial stability at the Bank of England, told an audience at the Institute for Government that coordination and cooperation was needed between national authorities to prevent a repeat of the crisis that plunged the world into recession in 2008.
