Coventry mayor referendum faces delay - due to lack of interest

A referendum in Coventry to decide if an elected mayor should lead the council could be delayed for another year - due to lack of public interest. The government confirmed it is considering the proposal by pro-mayor charity the Institute for Government - which is advising on how people could be more encouraged to vote ‘Yes'.
