Firms ‘gaming’ government services, says IfG

Private companies providing public services are routinely “gaming the system” to make money for their shareholders at the expense of the taxpayer, a new study by the Institute for Government finds today. It concludes that the Government still does not have the skills to manage private sector contracts effectively.
