Lauren is the Head of Events. She is responsible for event delivery at the Institute – public events, private roundtables, IfG Academy events and party conference activities – and oversees the schedule and management of the events team.
Lauren studied politics at university and then spent eight years working on a variety of events – including training, roundtables, receptions, briefings, report launches, and party conference fringe events – at Dods. She then moved to Clarion Events where she managed large conferences and exhibitions in the UK and abroad, across sectors such as life sciences, energy and payments. More recent roles have involved organising awards ceremonies, webinars and experiential learning events.
